The ENGWE Zip Folding Electric Bike is designed for urban commuters who value portability, comfort, and dependable performance. Built with a lightweight yet durable frame, it weighs just 16.9 kg without the battery while supporting a maximum payload of 120 kg. Its innovative triple-folding design allows the bike to fold within seconds, making it easy to store in apartments, offices, car boots, or carry on public transport.

Powered by a 250W EU-compliant rear hub motor delivering up to 40 Nm of torque, the ENGWE Zip provides smooth and efficient pedal assistance for daily commuting and leisure rides. An advanced torque sensor continuously measures pedalling effort and delivers natural, responsive power exactly when needed. Unlike traditional cadence sensors, this system improves riding efficiency, comfort, and control, particularly during hill climbs, stop-and-go traffic, and longer journeys. Riders can select from three pedal assist levels to suit different riding conditions.

The bike is equipped with a 36V 10Ah (360Wh) removable LG lithium-ion battery, offering a maximum range of up to 120 km under ideal riding conditions. The battery supports PD 3.0 USB-C charging and discharging, allowing it to function as a portable power bank for compatible devices. A 100W GaN fast charger helps reduce charging time, ensuring the bike is ready for everyday use.

Designed for comfort and safety, the ENGWE Zip features 16-inch urban hybrid tyres, a suspension seatpost, and a single-sided front fork to provide a stable and comfortable ride on city streets and paved cycle paths. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors deliver reliable stopping performance in varying weather conditions, while integrated StVZO-compliant LED front and rear lights improve visibility for daytime and night riding.

For enhanced versatility, the bike includes a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, allowing smooth gear changes across different terrains. A 3.2-inch Bluetooth-enabled colour LCD display shows real-time riding information, including speed, battery level, distance travelled, and pedal assist mode. ENGWE App compatibility provides additional ride data and smartphone connectivity for a more connected riding experience.

Practical commuter-focused features include quick-release pedals, a folding stem, a quick-release seat clamp, and IP-rated weather-resistant protection for the battery, motor, display, and electrical components. These features improve durability while making the bike easy to transport and store in compact spaces.
